When fire strikes, we help you rebuild.

At Lanier Home Restoration, we understand the toll it takes to rebuild after a property fire and we’re here to help you take the next step.

What to expect during our damage repair process

1. Damage Assessment

Our estimator will come assess the damages, and take photos & measurements to prepare the repair estimate to submit directly to your insurance company. We make sure to document everything thoroughly to support your insurance claim.

2. Estimate Finalization

We will reach out to the insurance company routinely to obtain the approval needed to get your home back to pre-loss condition. Our goal is to get your repairs authorized fast so we can begin restoring your home without unnecessary delays.

3. Contract and Rebuild

Once we get the approved estimate, we create a payment plan within our work contract. After you’ve signed & paid, your project manager is given the green light to begin the repairs needed.

4. Supplements and Upgrades

Sometimes we will run into repairs that were left off the initial approval. We will send a supplement to your insurance company for these additional repairs. An upgrade is a repair the homeowner wants, that is unrelated to the insurance repairs.

5. Depreciation

Once your project is complete, we will do a final walk through and get a Certificate of Completion that gets sent to the insurance company to release the final funds, known as depreciation.
