The Pack Out
First, one of our dedicated Contents Project Managers will perform a walk-through of your property to assess the affected areas and determine what contents need to be packed and removed. We will create an inventory of the stored contents and document them with photos for tracking and insurance purposes. Lanier Home Restoration will provide photo documentation of non-salvageable contents, while the insured is responsible for creating and submitting the inventory list to their insurance carrier for reimbursement. Your belongings will then be carefully prepared for transport to our secure facility.
Storage and Cleaning
While your contents are being stored at our climate-controlled facility, any items requiring contents cleaning will be professionally cleaned and restored by our team of technicians, subject to insurance approval. Upon completion of repairs, your belongings will be returned and placed back into your home.
The Pack Back
Our goal is to help restore your home to normal with as little stress as possible. Once repairs to your property are complete and your insurance carrier has approved the move-back services, we will return your belongings to your home. If approved by your insurance carrier, our team will unpack your contents and place them in their appropriate locations. Otherwise, we will deliver the boxes to the requested rooms for you to unpack at your convenience.
Note: We do not transport or store any perishable or hazardous contents. This includes but is not limited to food, cleaning supplies, medication, hazardous or toxic chemicals, gas, liquid, flammable materials, explosives, or any contents that would violate any law or regulation of any governmental authority.
